Bloggers on the Radar

October 14, 2009 by Tara McClenahan

I’ve always wanted to explore the blogosphere and discover some previously-unknown-to-me fantastic bloggers but I never took the time to do so until recently and I have had a BLAST!  I have come across some wonderful bloggers out there and today, I will share three with you and encourage you to check them out!

Photobucket(In)Courage – This isn’t a single blogger but a community of incredible, transparent and gifted Christian bloggers that continually post about things that hit right at the heart and usually about something that I am currently dealing with.  They always make you ponder or laugh or cry or even hit your knees with conviction or profound gratefulness to our Father!  After only reading a handful of posts, you will feel like you have found a warm home where you can curl up and stay awhile.  And that is exactly what I do on a daily basis!  Join me!

PhotobucketCarla Anne Coroy - Carla Anne’s blog Married Single Moms is one that I came upon during one of those bunny trails that we so often follow when roaming around on the world wide web.  I happen to think that this particular bunny trial was mapped out by God because her blog stopped me in my tracks!  Her writing style paired with the openness and honesty of being married yet parenting as a singleton struck very close to home for me.  Even so, her writing speaks to more than those in the same family situation.  In particular, her posts “I Know That I Know” and “Waiting for Beautiful to Happen” have had a profound effect on me, prompting some pretty intense journal writing!  While I have never met Carla Anne, the revelation of little pieces of herself in her writing makes me suspect that we would be great sisters of the soul and I suspect you will feel the same way.

PhotobucketLeigh Ann Napier is a Certified Life and Marriage Coach for iBloom as well as a new blogger!  She currently contributes to Everyday Christian and the iBloom blog while working to get her personal blog up and going.  I wanted to highlight her because her passion to help women be the wives that God calls them to be radiates from her heart and infuses her writing.  Her disarming wit and ability to strip down a situation to its bare bones is a rare and refreshing find!  Bookmark her blog on Everyday Christian and iBloom and I will share with you when her personal blog is up and going (no pressure there, LAN!).  I am honored and privileged to call this remarkable woman a friend and sister in Christ!

Share with me your thoughts on these blogs and make some suggestions of blogs that I should check out!  I’m always on the lookout!
